Qualifications in Sports Turf

Sports turf qualifications range from introductory to degree level. Turf qualifications currently available include:

National Certificate in Sports Turf (Introduction to Turf Care) Level 3
An ideal introduction to turf care

National Certificate in Sports Turf Management (Level 4)
The 'supervisory tradespersons' qualification in the sports turf industry.

National Diploma in Sports Turf Management (Level 6)
Advanced training in sports turf and organisational and business management

Self-Select Training Packages
'Self-select' training packages can be tailored to meet individual trainee and employer requirements, without the need to commit to a full qualification. Examples include:

• Workplace Health and Safety and GROWSAFE
• Turf Machinery operation, maintenance and safety
• Weed and pest management, and basic turf care
• Management training for sports turf facility administrators.

On site workshop style delivery is available (minimum numbers apply), along with correspondence and on-job training options.
